Almost, Maine

Slated for February, Bread & Circus presents a delightful comedy written by John Cariani. "On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quiet what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Kennes are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal and the hearts mend--- almost---in this delightful midwinter night's dream."

Black Coffee

Agatha Christie's Black Coffee was originally produced in 1930. A classic murder mystery, the plot follows Hercule Poirot and his friend Arther Hastings who discover a theft and a murder in the famous physicist Sir Claud Amory's home. Not only must they deduce who stole Sir Claud's formula, but find the killer who may very well be walking among them! Keep your detective skills sharp and see if you can solve the case this April!

Anne of Green Gables

L.M. Montgomery's Anne Of Green Gables, adapted by Sylvia Ashby, is a well-known story dear to our hearts. The story follows Anne, an orphan girl given by mistake to the Cuthbert family, on her adventures in a quiet, close-knit farming village. A family favorite for all ages, Bread & Circus is thrilled to be presenting this timeless classic in June.

Antony and Cleopatra

Wrapping up the 2011-2012 season in August is Shakespeare's tragedy, Antony and Cleopatra. A story known well from history, the plot follows the relationship between Cleopatra and Mark Antony from the Parthian War to Cleopatra's demise.
